Eugene G. Bilot

Eugene G. Bilot, 89, of Newark, Illinois, passed away Thursday, March 8, 2012 at his home. Visitation for Eugene will be 2:00 - 5:00 p.m. Sunday, March 11, 2012 at Osborne-Nelson Funeral Home in Seneca, Illinois. Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday in Michigan. Eugene was born August 27, 1922 in Detroit, Michigan to George and Josephine (Binsfeld) Bilot. He married Sylvia Kolman on February 7, 1948 in Detroit, Michigan. She died September 7, 2000. He worked for ITT World Communications for 25 years retiring in 1989. He served in the U.S. Army. He is survived by one son, Michael (Laura) Bilot of Newark; two daughters, Yvonne (James) Ellfeldt of California and Renee (James) Foust of Pennsylvania; eleven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Carl (Phyllis) Bilot of Shelby Township, Michigan and Ray (Gloria) Bilot of Byron Center, Michigan. He was preceded in death by his wife; one grandchild, Christianna; and one great-grandchild, Aiden; two sisters, Marguerite (Stanley) Bor and Katherine (George) Richter; and four brothers, Joseph (Anne) Bilot, Walter (Virginia) Bilot, Francis Bilot, and George Bilot.
