Eric J. Gibson

Eric John Gibson, 57, of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, formerly of Ottawa, passed away Wednesday February 13, 2019 at his home.

Funeral Services will be at 6 pm, Friday, February 22 at Ottawa Funeral Home, with Rev. Duane Kaufman officiating. Visitation will be from 3 to 6 pm, Friday, prior to the services, at the funeral home.

Eric was born August 8, 1961, in Streator to Larry and Margaret (White) Gibson. He married Susan Wilson on August 20, 2006 in Marseilles.

He worked at Conoco Phillips in Oklahoma as an IT Computer Engineer for the last three years. He enjoyed fishing, boating, traveling, and watching sports; he was fan of his Chicago teams; the White Sox, Bears, and Bulls. Eric treasured his family and was a loving father, husband, and son.

He is survived by his wife, Susan; his two children, Ann Marie and Jon; his mother, Margaret Gibson; his brothers, David M. Gibson and David J. Gibson; and his big furry friend, Baby. He was preceded in death by his father, Larry Gibson; and his sister, Julie Gibson.
