Emma Lou Cawley (nee- Beyer), 76, of Ottawa, IL, passed away December 26th, 2024, at her home; to be with her parents in heaven.
Emma Lou was born August 6th, 1948, in Decatur, IL, to Frederick and Marjorie (Buck) Beyer. She married Thomas J. Cawley on December 26th, 1970 at the Methodist Church in Seneca. Together they raised two children, Tim & Megan.
She was an educator from 1968 to 2006 at the Seneca Grade School. Emma Lou enjoyed knitting, reading books, shopping, cross stitching, and her weekly visits to the salon.
She is survived by her Husband; Thomas Cawley; Daughter, Megan Cawley of Lasalle, Son, Tim Cawley of Ottawa, and Brother, Stephen Beyer.
Emma was preceded in death by both her parents.
Memorials may be directed to the family.
