Emma Lashley (Argubright) Olson

Emma J.(Argubright) (Olson) Lashley, 85, of Mendota, formerly of Ottawa, IL passed away Thursday, November 26, 2009, at Heritage Manor in Mendota. Graveside services only will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, December 1, 2009 at Oakwood Memorial Park, Ottawa, IL. Arrangements were entrusted to Ottawa Funeral Home. Emma was born November 13, 1924 in Marseilles, IL to Roy and Fannie Mae (Perley) Argubright. She married Earl Olson July 28, 1945. He died in 1960. She later married Elmer Lashley on May 28, 1996 in Mendota at the First United Methodist Church. He died in 2005. Emma was an LPN at Ottawa Regional Hospital and Healthcare Center for over 30 years. She is survived by two daughters, Jill (Ralph) Soulsby of Las Vegas, NV and Donna (Bob) Price of Yuma, AZ; one son, Earl (Linda) Olson of Mendota, IL; four grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren. Emma was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Fannie Mae Argubright; first husband, Earl Olson;her second husband, Elmer Lashley; one daughter, Jeanne Olson; two sons, Raymond and Richard Olson; a grandson, Leo Wilson Jr; a son-in-law, Leo Wilson Sr; three brothers, Alfred Perley, Laverne Reynolds, and William Argubright; and one sister Blanche Argubright. Memorials may be directed to St. Margaret's Hospice or the Radium City Girls.
