Emilie L. Mack, 73, of Seneca, Illinois, passed away Saturday, December 15, 2012 at her home in rural Seneca. Funeral Service will be at 12:00 p.m. Thursday, December 20, 2012, at the Osborne-Nelson Funeral Home in Seneca with Rev. Ray Guthrie, of St. Patrick's Church of Seneca officiating. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Thursday, December 20, at Osborne-Nelson Funeral Home. Emilie was born Friday, June 30, 1939, in Chicago, Illinois, to the late Edmund VanDenBerge and the late Leona Vandenbrande. She married Roy Mack in 1955 in Iowa. She worked at Rivershores as a nurse. She was a member of St. Patrick's Church in Seneca. She is survived by her husband, Roy Mack; two sons, Thomas E. (Debbie) Mack of Braidwood, Joseph (Kelly) Mack of Lostant; a daughter-in-law, Yolanda Mack of Braidwood; eight grandchildren; six great grandchildren; one sister, Nancy (Ray) Heidelberg of New Mexico; and one brother, John (Laura) VanDenBerge of Wisconsin. She was preceded in death by one son, Roy T. Mack; one brother, Edmund Van DenBerge; and one sister, Kay Brown. Pallbearers will be her grandchildren.
