Elizabeth "Liz" Lenac, 88 of Seneca, IL passed away, Saturday, July 3, 2010 at Pleasant View. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, July 8, 2010 at St. Patrick's Church in Seneca, IL with Msgr. Raymond Boyle officiating. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m., Wednesday, July 7, 2010 at Osborne-Nelson Funeral Home with prayers at 7:00. Burial will be at 2:00 p.m, Thursday, at Calvary Cemetery in Ottawa, IL. Liz was born September 10, 1921, in Marseilles, Il to John and Theresa (Cioeora) Pope. She married Daniel V. Lenac in 1945 in Rantoul, IL. He passed away January 14, 1983. She was a member of both, St. Patrick's Church in Ottawa, and St. Patrick's Church in Seneca. She was also a member of Catholic Daughters of the Americas, the Altar and Rosary Society, and AARP. She had worked at National Biscuit Co. in Marseilles, the Seneca Shipyards, and most recently, was a caretaker for many area Seniors. Liz is survived by one daughter, Sharon (Richard) Sheedy of Seneca, IL; one son, Daniel (Joanne) Lenac of Rocklin, CA; seven grandchildren, Tracee (Kevin) Duffy of Gilbert, AZ, Marcee (Tim) Evans of Moon Twp., PA, Chad (Michelle) Harmon of Gilbert, AZ, Angela (Vernon) Pansmith of Sewickley, PA, Darren (Nicole) Lenac, Nickloas (Jennifer) Lenac, Mandi (Dave) King, all of Rocklin, CA; twelve great grandchildren, Paige Pansmith, Taylor and Kendall Duffy, Kylee, Aubree, and Shea Evans, Hannah and Shawn (Hillhouse) Harmon, Hannah Lenac, Brittany Lenac, and Dillon and Ryan King. She is preceded in death by her husband; her parents; six brothers, John, Theodore, Joseph, Frank, George, and Isador in infancy; and six sisters, Mary Pashade, Julia Ozella, Sophie Imboden, Vera Umland, Florence Buffu, and Anna Raimondo. Pallbearers will be Steve Lenac, Gary, Grant, and Greg Fuchs, John Lenac, and Buddy Wright. Memorials may be directed to the Donor's Choice.
