Elizabeth "Betty" Dille

Elizabeth "Betty" Dille, 90, of Grand Ridge passed away Friday, May 29, 2015 at Ottawa Pavilion surrounded by her loving family. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:30 AM Monday, June 1, 2015 at St. Patrick's Church with Rev. Mike Driscoll officiating. Visitation will be 3:00 - 7:00 Sunday, May 31, 2015 at Ottawa Funeral Home. She will be buried in Grand Ridge Cemetery. Betty was born August 26, 1924 in Ottawa, Illinois to Joseph and Mary Seaman. She married Robert Dille March 6, 1942; he passed away July 5, 2001. She worked for Westclox and retired from St. Mary's Hospital in Streator as a nurse. She is survived by four daughters, Diane (Gary) Donnelly of Ottawa, Jane (David) Smith of Herscher, IL, Susan (David) Calhoun of Ottawa, and Kathy (Mike) McGinnis of Aurora; one son, Dale Dille of Ottawa; fourteen grandchildren; twenty-eight great grandchildren; and three great-great grand children. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and was the last of her ten siblings. Pallbearers will be Kent and Keith Donnelly, Ryan Hamer, Chad Rowe, Tim Hannon, Mike McGinnis, and Luke Smith. Memorials may be directed to donor's choice.
