Elizabeth "Betty" Coss

Elizabeth "Betty" Coss, formerly Sister M. Rose Ann OSF, age 90 passed away peacefully on June 4, 2021.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, June 12, at St. Patrick's Church in Seneca. Visitation will be held from 9:00 am until 10:00 am, prior to the service, at the church. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery in Seneca.

Betty was born October 16, 1930, in Seneca, IL, to Thomas Francis and Anna (Kennedy) Coss. She worked for many years as a nurse at various locations of the Veterans Administration.

She is survived by her brother Rev. John B. Coss of Framingham, MA; her sister, Dolores Phillips of Northbrook; and fond aunt to many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and a friend of many. She was preceded by her parents and her siblings, Francis Kennedy Coss, Paul James Coss, Lawrence Coss, and Eleanor O'Brien.
