Eldon Wolfe

Eldon "Tom" Wolfe, 76, of Ottawa, IL passed away January 10, 2011 at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria, IL. Funeral Services will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, January 17, 2011 at Ottawa Funeral Home, with Pastor David Meyer officiating. Visitation will be 2-5 p.m., Sunday, January 16, at Ottawa Funeral Home. Burial will be in Oakwood Memorial Park. Eldon was born July 21, 1934 in Ottawa, IL to William and Edith (Holloway) Wolfe. He married Barbara (Hackler) May 3, 1956, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Ottawa. He served in the Marines during the Korean War. He was owner and operator of Blarney Irish Pub in Ottawa. He was a very respected and well known man. You could always depend on him to be there when needed and he could always put a smile on your face. He loved cooking, socializing, and was a very good handyman to have around. He was our advice giver, our supporter, and our best friend. He was the Rock of our family. Eldon is survived by his wife; two daughters, Jackie (Don) Donnelly and Lorinda (Mike Eichorn) Korth, both of Ottawa; one son, Donald Wolfe of Ottawa; eight grandchildren; Chris Donnelly, Lindsay (Bill) Kelm, Tara Donnelly, Brandon Umbarger, Brittany Donnelly, Jason Wolfe, Brynn and Preslei Korth; eight great grandchildren; Cheyenne Donnelly, Alex White, Dominic Kelm, Aaliyah Donnelly, Trey Donnelly, Devin Kelm, Selena and Jordan Gomez; two brothers, Robert (Dolly) Robinson of Pueblo, CO, and Ronnie (Bernice) Robinson of Plano, IL. He is preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Richard Robinson and Jack Wolfe; and a son in law, Larry Korth. Pallbearers will be Don Donnelly, Mike Eichorn, Chris Donnelly, Brandon Umbarger, Jason Wolfe, Shawn Holloway, Jimmy Wolfe, and Victor Hackler Jr. Memorials may be directed to the family.
