Elaine T. (Tasi) Barr

Elaine T. Barr, 87, of Ottawa, IL, passed away Saturday, October 17, 2020 at OSF St. Elizabeth Medical Center.

Private family services will be held. She will be buried at Oakwood Memorial Park. Ottawa Funeral Home & Crematory has been entrusted with arrangements.

Elaine was born October 8, 1933, in Ottawa, to Albert and Lena (Brassea) Tasi. She married James Barr October 18, 1952 at First United Methodist Church in Ottawa; he passed away June 17, 2014.

She is survived by four children, Wayne (Judith) Barr of Walnut, Karen (Chuck) Eiben of LaSalle, Larry Barr of Florida, and Pat (Robert) Zachary of Ottawa; eight grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and two sisters, Esther Woodward of Morris and Alvera Bowling of California. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one sister, Julia Weiss; and two brothers, Anton and Peter Tasi.
