Elaine Maxfield

Elaine Maxfield, 95, of Hartsdale, New York passed away Tuesday, September 29, 2015 at White Plains Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 200 pm on Friday Oct. 2, 2015 at Swan Lake Memorial Gardens in Peoria, Illinois with Military Honors. Arrangements are entrusted to the Ottawa Funeral Home. Elaine was born December 14, 1919 in Gridley, Illinois to William and Florence (Leonard) McKinley. She married Ernest Reginald Maxfield 1949 in Peoria IL; he passed away in 1993. Elaine was a Lieutenant in the US Navy Nurse Corp. during WWII and a registered nurse. She is survived by her daughter, Diana Maxfield (Michael) Kearse of Hartsdale, NY; one grandson, Bradley Kearse; and her sister, Billie (Bud) Nussbaum of Forrest, IL. She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; and one brother, Cletus McKinley.
