Edith Fararre

Edith Fararre, 87, of Marseilles, formerly of Seneca, passed away Friday, May 18, 2018 at Park Pointe Nursing Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 am Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at St. Patrick's Church of Seneca with Father Ghislain Inai officiating. Visitation will be May 23, 2018 9:00 to 10:00, one hour prior to services, Wednesday at St. Patrick's Church in Seneca. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery. Osborne-Nelson Funeral Home has been entrusted with her services. Edith was born May 13, 1931 in Morris, Illinois to Herbert and Martha (Hostetler) Terry. She married Joe Fararre on July 1st, 1950; he passed on October 21st, 2006 She worked at Prairie States Oil Company in Seneca, Dwight Coil Factory in Dwight and Porters in Ottawa. She is a member of St. Patrick's Church in Seneca. She is survived by her children, Karen (Herb) Lindquist, Bob Fararre, and Lou Ann (Larry) Olson; eight grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; and one sister, Dorothy Rivett. She is preceded in death by her parents; and four siblings, Marge Walters, Geraldine Larson, Herb Terry, and Melvin Terry. Memorials may be directed to gpact.org or to the family.
