SENECA -- Edith A. "Edie" (Timmons) Cade, 78, of Brookfield Township, rural Seneca, died Saturday, Feb. 16, at Morris Hospital. Funeral services will be at 5 p.m. Wednesday at Osborne-Nelson Funeral Home in Seneca with the Rev. Duane Kaufman officiating. Burial will be in Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood. Visitation will be from 2 to 5 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Mrs. Cade was born Jan. 29, 1930, in Ottawa, to Melvin and Mary (Hochstetler) Timmons. She married Wayne E. Cade on Feb. 4, 1951, at Methodist Church in Seneca. He died Jan. 9, 2002. She retired from Diamond International in Morris after 25 years. She is survived by a daughter, Mary Ann (Jeff Kegley) Seidler of Morris; two sons, Jerry (Donna) and Duane (Laura) Cade, both of Seneca; five grandchildren, Steve (Sarah), Todd (Kate), Matt, Adam and Cody; four great-grandchildren, Karlie, Maggie, Noah and Kurdt; two sisters, Barb (Merlyn) Higgins and Diane (Richard) Partridge, both of Seneca; and three brothers, Eugene (Sandra) and Raymond (Marsha) Timmons, both of Seneca, and Ronald Timmons of Marseilles.
