"Ed" Stephen Stanaker

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Ottawa Funeral Home, with the Rev. Duane Kaufman officiating. Cremation will follow the services. Visitation will be 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. He was born Dec. 6, 1946 in Denver to Warner and Aileen (Weeden) Stanaker. He married Cynthia Sue Richards on April 11, 1970, at Shepard of the Hill in Lockport. He was a mortgage broker and belonged to the Ottawa Lions Club. He is survived by his wife; one daughter, Jennifer Madeline (Owen) Ainsworth, of Ottawa; three sons, Gary Edward and Justin Joseph, both of Ottawa and Robert Sebastian (Emma) of Chicago; five grandchildren, John "Jack," Madeline "Mea" and Peter Ainsworth, Abbigail and Annabelle Stanaker; two sisters, Judy Dunnovant, of Phoenix and Pat Hooper, of Lemont; one brother, Dan Stanaker, of Phoenix; father- and mother-in-law Al and Nancy Richards, of Lockport; two sisters-in-law: Mariellen (Ray) Plese, of Minooka and Pam (Dave) Tarrant, of Lockport; one brother-in-law, David Richards, of California; and nieces, nephews and cousins.
