Dustin Lee Hoekstra

Dustin Lee Hoekstra, 23, of Streator passed away Friday, May 21, 2010 at his home. Funeral services will be 10:00 am Wednesday, May 26, 2010 at Ottawa Funeral Home with Rev. Dale Katcher officiating. Visitation will be 4-7 pm Tuesday, May 25 at Ottawa Funeral Home. Burial will be in Oakwood Memorial Park. Dustin was born July 22, 1986 to Richard Hoekstra and Dori Pagakis in Ottawa, Illinois. He attended LP High School and was a graduate of Ottawa High School. He is survived by his parents; two sisters, Shona Totten, and Sarah Hoekstra both of Streator; one brother, Andrew Hoekstra of Streator; paternal grandparents, Richard (Janet) Hoekstra of Streator; maternal grandfather, Donald Pagakis of Serena; grandfather, Harry Owens of Ottawa; paternal great-grandmother, Norma Hesterman of Las Vegas, NV.; many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Donna Pagakis, and grandmother, Sharon Owens; paternal great-grandfather; and maternal great-grandparents. Pallbearers will be Dirk, Don, and Cory Pagakis, Michael, Steven, and Andrew Hoekstra. Memorials may be donated to the family.
