Drake Andrew Vanduzer

Drake Andrew VanDuzer, 35, of Ottawa passed away Tuesday, December 14, 2021.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date, due to the Covid-19 pandemic and upcoming holidays. Ottawa Funeral Home & Crematory has been entrusted with arrangements.

Drake was born August 11, 1986 in Peru to David and Linn (Williams) VanDuzer. He grew up in Ottawa and graduated from Ottawa Township High School in 2004. Drake enjoyed his job as a union painter and was a very hard-working man with a great sense of humor. He is best remembered for his kind and loving heart, especially when it came to his family. Drake was loyal and brave, and will be deeply missed.

He is survived by two children, Mia and Max; his parents, Dave and Linn; sister, Katie (Randy) Tarr; his nephew, Wyatt and niece, Evelyn; maternal grandmother, Sandra (Jay) Williams Carley of New Mexico; his four uncles, L.G. Williams, Greg (Val) Williams, Mark (Patty) VanDuzer, and Myles (Joyce) VanDuzer; and numerous cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, his maternal grandfather, and his aunt, Sandra LaVersa.
