Donald W. (Voga) Agler, Sr.

Donald W. (Voga) Agler Sr., 76, of Ottawa, Illinois, died Saturday, March 10, 2012 at Pleasant View after a courageous battle with cancer. Funeral Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday, March 12, 2012 at Ottawa Funeral Home, with the Pastor Peter Ward officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m. Monday at Ottawa Funeral Home. Donald was born November 4, 1935, in Sandwich, Illinois, to the late Lester and Delores Mae (Johnson) Voga. He married Margery Grooms on October 2, 1954 in Ottawa. He then married Constance Lee Kelly. He worked in Aurora at Caterpillar. He was a member of 1st Methodist Church of Leland. Don was a diehard Cubs fan. He is survived by four sons, Donald (Tammy) W. Agler of Waterman, Rick (Tami) Agler of Chetek, Wisconsin, Darren (Cathy) Agler of Glenpool, Oklahoma, and Scott Agler of Sapulpa, Oklahoma; one daughter, Karen (Ron) A. Smith of Seneca; his sister, Nancy Olson of Gridley, California; eleven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and his ex-wife, Connie Agler. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his foster parents, Clyde and Mattie Agler. Pallbearers will be Don, Rick, Darren, and Scott Agler, Ron Smith, and Don Telefson. Honorary pallbearers will be his grandchildren. Memorials may be directed to the family.
