Donald E. Rexroat

Donald E. Rexroat, 68, of Ottawa passed away Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at Regency Care of Morris. Ottawa Funeral Home & Crematory has been entrusted with cremation rites. Burial will be in Oakwood Memorial Park at a later date.

Don was born February 8, 1950, in Ottawa to Robert Paul and Catherine (Abernathy) Rexroat. He worked for Local 265 as a sheet metal worker. He received his pilot's license and enjoyed flying Cessna planes at the Ottawa Airport. Don also enjoyed riding his motorcycle and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his daughter, Sandra (Bruce) Lampson of Ottawa; his son, Paul Rexroat of Rushville, IL; grandsons, Joseph M. Cowan, Jacob Cowan, Maverick Bickett, Lucas Casey, and Parker Wiley; his great-grandson, Noah Cowan; and two siblings, Robert (Karen) Rexroat of Atlanta, GA and Mary Kay Doty of Ottawa.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one grandson, Lakota Lee Wiley; and one brother, Gary Rexroat.
