Donald H. Mcgowan

OTTAWA Donald Henry McGowan, 67, of Ottawa, was called home by the Lord early morning, Dec. 12. Don was born in Chicago on Dec. 9, 1941, served in the U.S. Army and was a truck driver by trade. He is survived by a daughter, MaryAnne; four brothers, Edward, Kenneth, Robert and Raymond McGowan; a sister, Barbara White of Ottawa; many nieces and nephews; and close friends, MaryAnne of Oregon and Patrick of California. He was preceded in death by his parents, Helen and Edward McGowan. He will be sadly missed by family and friends. Arrangements will be handled by Ottawa Funeral Home. Interment will be at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Cemetery in Elwood. A memorial service will be at a later date at First Presbyterian Church with the Rev. John Walker presiding.
