Donald Johnson

Donald A. Johnson, 62, of Ottawa passed away Monday, July 15, 2013 in Wisconsin. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 20, 2013 at St. Patrick's Church with Fr. Jules Adator officiating. Visitation will be 4:00 to 7:00 p.m Friday, July 19, 2013 at Ottawa Funeral Home with Moose Services at 6:00 p.m. He will be buried in Oakwood Memorial Park. Donald was born September 13, 1950 in Ottawa, Illinois to Arthur and Rena (Farnetti) Johnson. He married Barbara McAlpine February 4, 1969 in Ottawa, Illinois. He retired after 32 years of service in 2000 from Libby Owens Ford Glass Company as an electrician. He also was employed for Bill Walsh Jr. and Sr. doing yard work since 1998. He was a member of St. Patrick's Church and The Moose. He is survived by his loving wife, Barbara; two daughters, Tabitha (Joe) Kielan of Ottawa and Renee (Brett) Miller of Ottawa; and two grandchildren, Ella Kielan, and Samantha Miller; and three step-grandchildren, Jordan, Jacob, and Riley Kielan. He is preceded in death by his parents. Pallbearers will be Matt, Ryan, Steven, Bill, and Bob McAlpine and Larry Zuk.
