Donald F. Flower

Donald F. Flower, 87, of Ottawa, Illinois passed away Tuesday, April 26, 2016 in his home that he built. Ottawa Funeral Home & Crematory has been entrusted with his cremation rites.

Don was born January 10, 1929 in Peru, Illinois to Edward and Elizabeth (Zippel) Flower. He married Eleanor Santucci on August 19, 1950 at St. Mary's Church in Naplate. Donald retired from Libby-Owens-Ford in 1986, after 33 years. He was a United States Army veteran and served in the Korean War.

He is survived by his wife, Eleanor; one son, Thomas (Meredith) Flower of Phoenix, Arizona; one daughter, Lisa (Tim) Clarke of Sherwood, Oregon; four grandchildren, Robert and Anne Clarke, and Julia and Natalia Flower; and one sister, Mary Anderson of Arizona.

He was preceded in death by one son, Robert Flower; one brother, James Flower; and one sister, Phyllis Flower.
