Donald Bruck

Donald H. Bruck, 71, of Ottawa, IL, died, Saturday, February 12, 2011 at Ottawa Regional Hospital and Healthcare Center. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 AM Thursday, February 17, 2011 at St. Mary's Church, Naplate with the ,Rev Jules Adator, officiating. Burial will be in St. Columba Cemetery, with Military Services. Visitation will be from 4 - 7 pm, Wednesday, February 16, at Ottawa Funeral Home, prayers at 4:00 pm with the Knights of Columbus. Don was born, November 30, 1939, in Ottawa, IL, to Harold and Violet (Travis) Bruck. He married Marlene Sexton Tipton on June 23, 1979 in Ottawa. He worked at Union Carbide and Borg Warner Dist. He was a volunteer with K. of C. Bingo Group and Ottawa Regional Hospital and a member of the Knights of Columbus with the 4th Degree. He served in the US Army as Sergeant for Security from 1960-1963. He is survived by wife Marlene, three children, Christina Tipton, Sheryl (Paul Hayes)Tipton and Richard Tipton, two grandchildren Cassie and Rachael Tipton and two great Grandchildren Kylin Buckingham an d Michael Jessen. He has two brothers Ronald (Sharon) Bruck and Bill (Norma) Bruck both of Ottawa and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. Pallbearers will be Jeff, Mike and Jim Sexton, Tim and Randy Lester, Louie Gama Jeff, Brian, Randy, Ronnie, Doug and Steve Bruck. Memorials may be directed to Donor's choice.
