Donald Brown

Donald Brown, 86, of Ottawa, IL, died, Saturday, January 22, 2011 at Pleasant View. Private Graveside services were held Tuesday, January 25, 2011. He was buried in St. Columba Cemetery. Arrangements were entrusted to the Ottawa Funeral Home. Don was born September 13, 1924, in Paragould, Arkansas to Alonzo and Pearl Brown. He married Colleen (Revell) Eustis; she died June 25, 2000. He served in the US Marines during WWII in the Pacific Fleet. He had worked as an iron worker. He was a member of The Knights of Columbus as a Fourth Degree Knight, Catholic War Veterans, and American Legion. He is survived by one son; one sister; one brother; and many other family members. He is preceded in death by his parents; his former wife, Colleen.
