Doloris A. Glebke

Doloris Glebke, 101, of Ottawa, IL, formerly of  Wisconsin Rapids, WI, passed away on July 24, 2021 at Ottawa Pavilion. Funeral Service will be at 11:00 AM Friday July 30, 2021at Zion Lutheran Church, with Pastor David Daniel officiating. Visitation will be one hour before the service at Church. Burial will be in Ottawa Avenue Cemetery,  Arrangements entrusted to the Ottawa Funeral Home. Doloris was born June 15, 1920, in Wisconsin Rapids, WI.  to Charles and Hulda (Koch) Johnson.  She married Donald Glebke, the love of her life, on June 30, 1941 Wisconsin Rapids. They were inseparable during their 75 years of marriage until his death, August 16, 2016. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Wisconsin Rapids, WI and later Zion Lutheran Church of Ottawa.  Her family was her everything.  Doloris enjoyed baking, gardening, knitting and sewing, working on puzzles and cheering on the Green Bay Packers.  She was an avid reader. She is survived by; one daughter, Carol (Gary) Graffis; two sons, Ron (Marge) Glebke and Jim (Anne) Glebke; four grandchildren, Craig, Mike, and Kevin (Becky) Shymanski, and Tami (Marc) Rowe; ten great-grandchildren, Tessa, Garrett, Tristan, Wrigley, Addison, Isabel and Eddie Shymanski, Beth (James) Fox,  Alex Rowe, Rhonda (Jesse) Norship; and one great-great-grandchild, Jaylon Norship as well as many nieces and nephews. Doloris was preceded in death by her husband, Donald,  grandson Todd Glebke, and six siblings. Memorials may be directed to The Lutheran Hour Ministry or Zion Lutheran Church.
