OTTAWA -- Dolores (Martin) Kiesig, 84, of Ottawa, died Saturday, April 5, at La Salle County Nursing Home. Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Patrick Catholic Church with the Rev. Philip Halfacre officiating. Burial will be in St. Columba Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Ottawa Funeral Home with a rosary at 4 p.m. Dolores was born Aug. 5, 1923, in Ottawa, to Edward J. and Nora (Donovan) Martin. She married Edward Kiesig on July 2, 1951. She had been employed by Marie's Dress Shop and was a member of St. Patrick's Church. She is survived by her husband; a son, Donald (Judy) Kiesig of Ottawa; a daughter, Patricia Varney of Ottawa; six grandchildren, Kala (Chris) Ryan, Donald Kiesig Jr., Kevin (Monica) Kiesig, Staci (Jeff) Terry, Kelli (John) Wright and Terri Varney; four great-grandchildren, Robert, Anastacia and Brooklyn Terry and Dalton Ryan; and a brother, Edward J. Martin of Ottawa. She was preceded in death by four sisters, Helen and Catherine Martin, Frances Walsh and Margaret Price; two brothers, John and William Martin; and one great-granddaughter, Sarah Nicole Kiesig. Pallbearers will be Donald Jr. and Kevin Kiesig, Chris Ryan, Mike Graham, Jeff Terry and John Wright.
