Deven M. Dunn, 12, of Seneca, Illinois, passed away Wednesday, March 14, 2012 after an automobile accident. Private Funeral Service will be held, with the Rev. Duane Kaufman officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Seneca. Public Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 18, 2012 at Osborne-Nelson Funeral Home in Seneca. Deven was born September 25, 1999, in Streator, Illinois to Patrick and Sheri (Mainor) Dunn. He was a 7th grade student at Seneca Grade school. He was a member of the Boy Scouts of America, an avid fisherman and he loved animals. Deven's plans were to become a veterinarian. He is survived by his father, Patrick Dunn of Seneca; his mother, Sheri (Gary Jaraczewski) Mainor-Dunn of Peru; his brother Tim Mainor-Dunn of Seneca; his sister Melissa Cavanagh of Peru, his paternal grandmother, Florence Dunn of Seneca; his maternal grandparents, Billy Joe and Jean Mainor of Streator; aunts and uncles, Steven and Angela Mainor of Streator and Shellie and Eric Pool of Ransom; and cousins, Jacob Mainor of Streator and Brady and Aaron Pool of Ransom. He was preceded in death by his sister, Alison Dunn; paternal grandfather, Bud Dunn; and cousins, Nicolas and Alex Mainor. Pallbearers will be Steve Mainor, Jacob Mainor, Brady Pool, and Aaron Pool.
