Dena Rae Towne

Dena Rae Towne, 26, of Ottawa, IL passed away Saturday, March 27, 2010 at her home. Funeral Services will be 10:00 AM Thursday, April 1, 2010 at Ottawa Funeral Home with Rev. David Kipfer officiating. Visitation will be 4-7 Wednesday, March 31, 2010 at Ottawa Funeral Home. Burial will be in Oakwood Memorial Park. Dena was born December 17, 1983, in Ottawa, Illinois to Edward and Renae (Rickelm) Varney. She married Reid Towne October 11, 2008 in Ottawa, IL. Dena was a Certified Nurses Aid at Pleasant View in Ottawa. She is survived by her husband, Reid, of Ottawa; one son, Matthew Gerald Towne, still at home; one sister, Krista (Jeff) Schinzel of Ottawa; her parents, Edward and Renae Varney of Ottawa; her maternal grandmother, Alice Rickelm of Ottawa; her paternal grandmother, Charlotte Varney of Ottawa; her mother-in-law, Delfina Towne of Ottawa; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Dena is preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Michael Varney; her maternal grandfather, Reynal Rickelm; and her father-in-law, Donald Gerald Towne. Memorial may be directed to the family. Pallbearers will be Jeff Schinzel, Shane and Brian Towne, Bryan and Eric Dilley, Joe Wilson, Rich Leach, and Ron Burgess.
