Delmar "Wayne" Sellers

Delmar "Wayne" Sellers, 78, of Ottawa, Illinois, passed away Sunday, April 20, 2014 at Ottawa Pavilion. Funeral Ceremony will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at Ottawa Funeral Home with Rev. Kim Wood officiating. Visitation will be 12:00 to 2:00 pm prior to services on Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at Ottawa Funeral Home. He will be buried at a later date. Wayne was born September 15, 1935 in Fairfield, Illinois to John and Janelle (White) Sellers. He married Lola Fleming on June 4, 1955 in St. Patrick's Church. In 2000 he retired from Caterpillar in Joliet after 35 years of services. He is survived by his loving wife Lola Sellers; two daughters, Kathy (Russ) McCalister of Morris and Valerie (Ronald) Alderson of Streator; two sons, Ernie Sellers of Ottawa and Joe (Kai) Sellers of Oxnard, CA; twenty grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and one sister, Lorraine Angell. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Vicki Sellers; two sons, Kevin and Matt Sellers; two grandchildren, Kevin Lee Sellers Jr. and Ron Alderson Jr.; and one sister, Mary Kates.
