Deborah Miller

Deborah “Debby” Jean Miller, 76, passed away on October 26th, 2025, at Pleasant View Lutheran Home in Ottawa. Cremation rights were provided by Ottawa Funeral Home of Ottawa. Debby was born on July 20, 1949 in Ottawa IL to Robert and Doris (Howell) Babcock growing up in Marseilles. She married Gary Eugene Miller, originally from North Dakota, last residing in Grand Ridge. He preceded her in death on April 28th, 2023. She is survived by her children, Gary (Samantha) of Odell and Jody (Likolehua Hussey) Miller of Earlville. Also surviving are sister Francine Babcock, brother Lewie Babcock and grandchildren Adrian (Emily Hurst) Grieves, Skyler (Jakob Price) Balconi and Tristan Balconi.

Debby graduated from Marseilles High School and operated Family Hair Care in Marseilles. She enjoyed bowling and caring for animals.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Robert (Bob Duane) Babcock, step father Cliff McCollum and stepmother Donna (Janke) Babcock.
