David M Pierce

David Michael Pierce, Sr., 62, of Ottawa, passed away on Wednesday, July 15, 2026. David was born in Ottawa on September 18, 1963 to John "Jack" Pierce and Janet (Bowers) Anderson.

A visitation for David will be held at Ottawa Funeral Home on Monday, July 27, 2026 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

David grew up in Ottawa, and was a graduate of Ottawa High School in 1982. David loved the outdoors. He often spent his time fishing, gardening, camping, and cooking. He was a hard worker and a craftsman, building a family home himself here in Ottawa. David owned TNT Construction and worked for Ruiz Construction for 13 years. He retired from the Local Laborer's Union 393.

David is survived by his mother, Janet (Bowers) Anderson; children, David Pierce, Jr., John (Alyssa) Pierce, Sr., Michael (Ellie) Pierce, and Connor (Ashley) Pierce; and grandchildren, Asher Pierce, John Pierce, Jr., Jayla Pierce, Parker Pierce, Olivia Pierce, and Liam Pierce.

He is preceded by his father, John "Jack" Pierce, and his brother, John "Bobby" Pierce.
