David Mccoy

David "Gonzo" McCoy, 54, of Ottawa passed away Saturday, September 13, 2014 at Asta Care Center of Toluca. A Memorial Service will be held at 7:00 pm Thursday, September 18, 2014 at Ottawa Funeral Home with Rev. Duane Kaufman officiating. Visitation will be 4:00 to 7:00 pm prior to services on Thursday at Ottawa Funeral Home. David was born December 30, 1959 in Streator, Illinois to Beverly Lehman. David worked at Farm & Fleet many years and he also detailed cars. He enjoyed square dancing in Rockford, working in the yard, and going to car shows. He is survived by mother, Beverly McCoy; one brother, Todd (Tina) McCoy; five nieces and nephews, Rita McCoy, Caleb McCoy-Christensen, Katie Dixon, Caleb Dixon, and Race Larsen; a great-niece, Trenity Kimes; and four other great-nephews. He is preceded in death by his step-father, Alonzo "Phil" McCoy Jr; his grandparents, Ralph "Fritz" Lehman, Georgia Lehman,and Alonzo McCoy Sr. Memorials may be directed to family.
