David Mason

David Mason 1956-2008 PROPHETSTOWN David J. Mason, 52, of Winning Wheels in Prophetstown, formerly of Los Angeles, died Saturday, Nov. 29, at Community General Medical Center in Sterling. Funeral services will be at noon Wednesday at Osborne-Nelson Funeral Home, Seneca, with the Rev. Rick Mitchell. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery, Seneca, with military rites by American Legion Kasal Post 457. Visitation will be Wednesday from 10 a.m. to noon at the funeral home. He was born Sept. 11, 1956, in Manhattan, Kan., to Robert and Trueta (Mull) Mason.He served with Army from 1974-1976 stationed in Germany. Survivors include his mother, Trueta Mason of Seneca; three sisters, Anna Marie (Jon) Hart of Pesotum, Cosette (Larry) Reeves of Ottawa and Carolyn Mason of Rantoul; and two brothers, Stephen Mason of Edgerton, Wis., and Douglas (Donna Brooks) Mason of Seneca.
