David Flores

David T. Flores, 23, of Ottawa, died Saturday, June 25, 2011 at his home. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 AM Thursday, June 30, 2011 at St. Columba Church with the Rev. David Kipfer, and the Very Rev. Bernard C. Scianna, O.S.A, Ph.D. officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00 - 7:00 pm, Wendesday, June 29 at Ottawa Funeral Home. David was born Thursday, May 5, 1988, in Chicago, Illinois He worked as a laborer at HCC, inc. in Mendota, IL. He was an alumni from St. Columba School, and a graduate from Ottawa Township High School. He is survived by his parents, Jose and Helen Flores of Marseilles; grandmother, Adela T. Flores of Ottawa, two sisters, Vanessa (David Hatcher) Flores of Naplate and Sophie Flores of Marseilles; one brother, Joe (Karen) of Oswego; one niece, Lauren Smith; and three nephews, Andrew Smith, Ethan Flores, and Ashton Flores. He is also survived by many, many, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends He was preceded in death by his grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Memorials may be directed to the family.
