David L. Buck Jr., 73, of Seneca died April 11, 2010 at Morris Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Morris, Illinois. Memorial Mass will be 10:00 AM, Saturday, April 17, 2010 at St. Patrick's Church in Seneca with the Msgr. Raymond Boyle officiating with military services and presentation of the flag. Visitation will be at 9:00 AM until the time of service at St. Patrick's Church. David's wishes were honored through his donation to Anatomical Gift Association. Arrangements were entrusted to Osborne-Nelson Funeral Home. David was born September 5, 1936 in Nashville, Tennessee to David and Cora (McMurray) Buck Sr. After thirty years of service he retired from Caterpillar in Joliet as a Welding Engineer. He was a member of St. Patrick's Church in Seneca and the Knights of Columbus. He is survived by three sons, Mike and Matt Buck, both of Marseilles, Steve (Kari) Buck of Coal City, IL; five daughters, Debbie (Dave) Bogash of Coal City, IL., Patti (Jack) Kaufmann of Normal, IL., Joan (Shawn) Johnson of Seneca, Chris (Nick) Boratto of Bloomington, IL., Teri (Corey) Burrows of Heyworth, IL.; twenty-two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one brother; and four sisters. He is preceded in death by one great-granddaughter, Dylann Farrero, and one sister. Memorials may be directed to National Kidney Foundation.
