Darlene Haage, 84, of Ottawa, passed away Monday, August 29, 2022 at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center in Bloomington.
Mass of Christian burial will be on Friday, September 2, at 10:00 am at St Patrick's Catholic Church, with Fr. Gary Caster officiating. Visitation will be on Thursday, September 1, from 5:00 until 7:00 pm at Ottawa Funeral Home. Burial will be in St. Columba Cemetery.
Darlene was born January 3, 1938, to John and Lillian (Pikul) Jacklovich. She married Ernest Haage on October 10, 1959 at St. Patrick's Church in Ottawa. He passed away October 7, 2020.
Darlene retired from the Community Hospital of Ottawa pharmacy after over 35 years of dedicated service and later worked for Hilton Properties. She was a member of St Patrick's Church and the Marseilles Lioness Club for over forty years. In her free time, she enjoyed traveling, especially taking trips to South Dakota, Florida, the Gulf Coast, and taking the Green River Casino Cruise. She would frequent the different festivals in and around Ottawa and would never miss an opportunity to spend time with her family. She enjoyed kick boxing, going to the Nautilus Gym, and was an avid White Sox fan.
She is survived by her children, Mary Ann (Alan) Lagger, Ronald (Jennifer) Haage, Ken (Julie) Haage; her grandchildren, Gabrielle (Sam Lowery) Lagger, Courtney Haage, Cody (Melissa Parsons) Haage, Emily (Cody) Williamson, and Trey (Brittany Adams) Haage; her great granddaughter, Harper Grace Haage; her brother, John "Jack" Jacklovich Jr.; and her dear friends, Margaret Slafer and Florence Veasy.
Darlene was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
Pallbearers will be her grandchildren.
