Daniel Lee Stuedemann,48, of Seneca, died Tuesday, Feb. 10, at Morris Hospital. Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St.Patrick's Church in Seneca with Msgr. Raymond Boyle officiating.Burial will be in Mount Hope in Seneca. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday with prayers at 4 p.m. at Ottawa Funeral Home. Arrangements were by Osborne-Nelson Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Jim Hovious, John Prindiville, Troy and Joshua Bott, Bob Higgins, Pat Ugolini and Jim McCormick. He was born Nov. 8, 1960, in Clinton, Iowa, to Don and Shirley (Kunau) Stuedemann. He married Marjorie Golden Aug. 4, 1990, in Berwyn. He was a partner with his brother in Stuedemann Construction for 22 years.He was a loved community member involved in Seneca Youth Baseball, Seneca Booster Club. He was passionate about his family, the outdoors. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. We will never forget his zest for life and his never ending kind smile. He made the world a better place with his willingness to help others and will be missed by so many who loved him including his dog, Jazz. Survivors include wife and his father; a daughter, Samantha, and a son, Matthew, both of Seneca; two sisters, Kathy (Dan Kirk) Stuedemann of Seneca and Barb Onken of Hazelgreen Ala.; two brothers, Dave (Erin) of Marseilles and Doug (Dawn) of Seneca. He was a beloved uncle of many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother and grandparents. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.
