Daniece Frazier

Daniece Frazier, 85, of Ottawa, passed away Tuesday, January 6, 2026 at Heritage Woods in Ottawa with her family by her side.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, January 10, from 10:00am until 12:00pm at Ottawa Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow at 12:00pm. Cremation rites have been entrusted to Ottawa Funeral Home & Crematory.

Daniece was born on June 21, 1940 in Chicago, IL to Dan and Berniece Morse. She lived a simple life, never needing diamonds, purses, or other frills. She worked at Anne's Hideaway for at least 30 years and later worked at Budget Boutique. When she wasn't working she loved watching sports, especially the Chicago Cubs and Bears, and making beautiful scrap books for her children and grandchildren. One of her proudest moments was when she was baptized in May of 2025.

She is survived by her 3 children, Kim (Tom) Nanouski, Kamee Frazier and Kip Frazier; her grandchildren, Tommie (Sarah) Nanouski, Chad (Amy) Nanouski, Robbie Frazier, Jordan (Bob) Frazier, Matthew (Jacqueline) Greathouse, Colton (Branna) Frazier, and Emma (Zac) Walters; her great grandchildren, Piper, Lily, Sidney, Cole, and Maggie Nanouski, Avery Frazier, Kinnly McGowan, Heaton Frazier, and Athea Greathouse; as well as her beloved nieces and nephews, Bill, Sis, Michael, and Bobby Backos.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Dan and Berniece; her sister and brother in law, Sharon and Leon Backos; and her beloved cat, Fatty.
