Cynthia (Trimmer) Sheely

Cynthia (Trimmer) Sheely, 74, of Ottawa passed away Sunday, November 8, 2020 at her home.

Ottawa Funeral Home & Crematory has been entrusted with cremation rites.

Cindy was born October 1, 1946 in Ottawa. She married Dwayne E. Sheely on March 1, 1969; he passed away May 1, 2002. Cindy loved gardening and reading romance novels. She was a loving mother and grandmother and enjoyed spending time with her family.

She is survived by two children, Derek Sheely and Janice Torres, both of Aurora; five grandchildren, Holly and Kathy Bolden, Donni Sheely, and Saprina and Damitrique Torres; her daughter-in-law, Mindy Sheely of Ottawa; and four sisters, Joyce Trimmer Lindsey, Billie Joy Clayton, Carol Snyder, and Patsy Behl, all of Jacksonville.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and one son, Charles Sheely.
