Corey Medina

It is with deep sorrow, we announce the passing of our beloved son, Corey Medina on April 18th, 2021 at his home.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:15 pm on Friday, April 23, at The Ottawa Funeral Home with Rev. David Kipfer officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00am until the time of service at the funeral home. Private burial will be in Galloway Cemetery in Marseilles. Masks will be required.

Corey was a freshman at Ottawa High and still exploring his dream path. He was compassionate, caring, loving, kind, and amazing. He loved music, he could also rap really well. He had an amazing eye for interior decorating, and at such a young age, has always appreciated the beauty of architectural structures. He was so great at playing tag and hide n seek with his siblings. You know how when you become a teen and get "too cool" for things like that, Corey didn't though. He was the best brother.  He enjoyed track, volleyball, and swimming. Corey was inspired by the mountains.

He is survived by his parents; Rigo and Heather Medina: his brother, Connor; his sister, Charlotte; his maternal grandparents, Marianne Kozak and Brian Mulcahy; his paternal grandparents, Roberto and Eloisa Medina; his aunt, Amy Mulcahy; and many more aunts, uncles, and cousins.
