Clifford Lee Robinson, 80, of Ottawa passed away Friday, April 6, 2018 at Aperion Care in Marseilles. Memorial Services will be held at 12 pm on Tuesday, April 10 at Ottawa Funeral Home with Rev. Duane Kaufman officiating. Visitation will be from 10 am to noon, prior to the services, at the funeral home. Cliff was born July 17, 1937 in Ottawa, Illinois to Hugh and Ruth (Garland) Robinson. He married Judy Armstrong on November 3, 1956 in St. Patrick's Church. Cliff and his wife spent most of their life in Serena, raising their children. After 40 years, they moved back to Ottawa. After retiring from Northern Illinois Gas Co, he had received a heart transplant, which he survived 20 years. He enjoyed spending summers in Tomahawk, WI and winters in Sarasota, FL. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, and collecting antiques. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Judy; four children, Craig (Linda) Robinson of Yellsville, AR, Jill (James) Mooneyham of Marseilles, Jennifer (Philip) Edgcomb of Ottawa, and Christopher (Lisa) Robinson of Serena; seven grandchildren, Clayton, Nathan, and Maxwell Robinson, Amy Kraus, Joseph Hicks, Jordan Edgcomb, and Zachary Robinson; and ten great-grandchildren, Kelsey and Skylar Robinson, Jacob and Madison Lowery, Login, Felicity, and Abby Hicks, Wyatt, Elliott and Flynn Edgcomb. He was preceded in death by his parents. In remembrance, the family encourages participation in the organ donor program.
