Claudia Dawn Smith

Claudia Dawn Smith, 23, of Ottawa, IL, passed away Friday, March 25, 2022 at her home.

A Memorial Mass will be held at a later date. Ottawa Funeral Home has been entrusted with her care.

Claudia was born March 17, 1999, in Ottawa, IL, to Barry and April (Bohler) Smith Jr.

She enjoyed working at Tyson Foods in Ottawa. She was attending IVCC to pursue her many dreams. She liked reading, hiking at Starved Rock, going on vacations, road trips and just being outdoors. She also loved to shop. She loved to spend time with her family but most of all being a dog mom to Cash.

She is survived by her mother, April Bohler; stepfather, Scott Newbury; her brother, Dustin (Kaci) Smith; her grandparents, Joseph and Barb Bohler; her uncles, Ryan (Kim) Bohler and Peter (Tracy) Bohler; her aunt, Corrie (Richard) Carver; her cousins, Taylor, Payton, Sophia, Savannah, Alexis (Casey), Graycee, Logan and many more aunts, uncles and cousins.

Claudia was preceded in death by Father, Barry Smith, Jr. and her grandfather Barry Smith Sr.
