Clarence Adams

Clarence "Clara Belle" Adams, 63, of Ottawa, Illinois, passed away Friday, May 2, 2014 at his home. A Celebration of Life will be held Thursday, May 8, 2014, from 4:00pm-7:00pm at The Outage located at 1206 Chestnut St. in Ottawa. Ottawa Funeral Home and Crematory has been entrusted with his cremation rites. Clarence was born August 21, 1950 in Saint Louis, Missouri to Glenn and Bertha (Lovins) Adams. He married Sue Lucas on August 12, 1997. She passed away November 3, 2009. Clarence was a Laborer. He was a member of Laborers Local 393 for 30 years. . He is survived by three daughters, Brandy Martinez, Sadie Belle Adams, and Sarah (Ryan Turner) Granados; one son, Ian Van Doren, eight grandchildren; and a sister, Margie Donahue-Adams. He is preceded in death by his wife, Sue; his parents, Glenn and Bertha Adams, three brothers, and one sister. Memorials may be directed to the family.
