Cindy L. Thomas

Cindy L. Thomas, 56, of Ottawa passed away Tuesday, December 4, 2018 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 10 am until noon, Saturday, December 8 at the Knights of Columbus. Ottawa Funeral Home & Crematory has been entrusted with cremation rites.

Cindy was born March 4, 1962 in Plymouth Falls, Oregon to Raimon C. Johnson and Constance M. Walker. She married Roger Thomas July 6, 2012 in Ottawa. She worked at the Super 8 Motel for the last four years.

Cindy's family was her whole life; she put them first above anything else. To her grandkids, she was their Nana, and they were her whole world. Cindy was a selfless woman who was full of life. She put everyone else's needs before her own. She will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her mother, Constance; her husband, Roger; three children, Melissa (Geneva) Tull, Curtis (Alicia) Squires, and Kimberly Squires; three step-children, Laurie Thomas, Roger (Pam) Thomas, Jr., and Rich Wilson; four grandchildren, Kairi, Nathan, Audrey, and Lucy; eight step-grandchildren, Kelly, Kyle, Kaley, Damen, Andrew, Isaac, Dylan, and Morgan; and her siblings, Gary (Nina) Johnson and Sandy (Wallace) Hurst.

She was preceded in death by her father, Raimon; and her step-father, Lee Humbert.
