Christina Markiewicz

Christina M. Markiewicz, 43, of Ottawa, passed away Friday, October 3, 2025 at her home.

A visitation will be held on Friday, October 10, from 2:00pm until 4:00pm. A funeral ceremony will follow at 4:00pm, with Pastor Brian Bullock officiating. Cremation rites have been entrusted to Ottawa Funeral Home.

Christina was born October 25, 1981 to Robert and Connie (Mohkovic) Wawerski. She married Frank Markiewicz on June 11, 2022 in Ottawa. She worked for Shaw Media and the Ottawa Times before she was able to be a stay at home mom.

She is survived by her husband, Frank; her parents, Robert and Connie; her children, Devin Wawerski and Trenton Markiewicz; her grandson, Scott C. Wawerski; and her brother Robert Wawerski.
