Chester "Jr" Laka

Chester "Jr" Laka Jr., 63, of Ottawa, passed away on December 25, 2022, at his residence.

Cremation rites have been entrusted to the Ottawa Funeral Home with a Celebration of Life to take place at a later date.

Jr was born August 12, 1959, in Cicero, IL, to Nancy Laka.

He enjoyed fishing, watching the Cubs & Bears, and anything sport related.  He was an amazing father, step-father and grandfather.  His family meant the world to him.

He is survived by his mother, Nancy Laka; his daughter, Ashley Carroll; his step-children, Larry, Paul and Angela Trowbridge; his grandchildren, Avea Young and Sedalia Carroll; his brother, Frank Laka; and his sisters, Cheryl Laka and Pat Carroll. He was preceded in death by his brother, Mark; and his sister-in-law, Jan.
