Charles Simec

Charles Raymond Simec, 85, of Ottawa, passed away Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at his home. Ottawa Funeral Home & Crematory has been entrusted with cremation rites. Charles was born October 8, 1931 in Chicago, Illinois to Charles L. and Hazel Ruth (Frye) Simec. He married Jeanette Pfeiffer on July 10, 1954 at Chicago Trinity Evangelical Reformed Church. Charles was a personal manager for Consolidated Freightways. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Jeanette; two sons, Charles and Todd Simec; one daughter, Cindy (Eric) Lundin; two grandchildren, Peter and Martha Lundin; and one sister, Lois (Richard) Gordon. He was preceded in death by his parents.
