Charles E. Kinkin

Charles E. "Charlie" Kinkin, Sr., 78, of Ottawa passed away Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at his daughter's home.

Graveside services will be at 1 pm, Wednesday, January 6 at St. Columba Cemetery, with Rev. Bruno Byomuhangi officiating. Ottawa Funeral Home & Crematory has been entrusted with arrangements.

Charlie was born October 24, 1942, in Ottawa to Alexis and Harriet A. (Monroe) Kinkin. He retired from Owens Brockway Glass. He enjoyed model airplanes and going to parties for his family.

He is survived by his son, Charlie Kinkin, Jr.; two daughters, Kim Kinkin-Nees and Kelly (Joe) Mack; four grandchildren, Kari Volker, Matt Mack, Hallie Breese, and Hunter Breese; two great-grandchildren, Thea and Griffin Volker; his brother, Robert Kinkin; and two sisters, Barbara (Paul) Vershay and Rose (Ken) Poris. He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Rita Kien; his brothers, Michael and Alexis Donald Kinkin; and his niece, Chrissy Kinkin.
