Charles Robert Boisso

Charlie Robert Boisso, 60, of Ellensburg, Washington passed away at his home on October 31, 2012. Charlie was cremated Saturday the 3rd of November. A private ceremony was held November 10th in Ellensburg, Washington by the family. Local Memorial Ceremony will be held at Ottawa Funeral Home on Saturday December 8, at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. David Kipfer officiating. Visitation will be prior to the ceremony from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. at Ottawa Funeral Home. Interment will be in St. Columba Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to the family for the further education of his children. Charlie was born April 16, 1952, the third child to Glenn and Dorothy (Kubis) Boisso in Ottawa. He married Ellen Fousel in Orting, Washington on December 14, 1986. Charlie graduated from Marquette in 1970 and attended IVCC for four years acquiring business associate degrees. He was the owner operator of the Natural Foods Store on Madison Street in Ottawa. His current employment was with the City of Ellensburg. He is survived by his mother, Dorothy of Ottawa; five sons, Joshua of Seattle, Phillip of Tacoma, Nathaniel of Alaska, Joseph and Stephen of Ellensburg; a daughter, Mary, and the mother of the children Ellen Fousel, both of Orting, WA; his siblings, Mary Beth (Bob) Gleason of Texas, Jan (David) Bartels of Peru, Rita (Tim) Morey of Marseilles, Joseph (Colleen) of Chicago, James of Ottawa, Jerald of Chicago, Dale (Nancy) of Dallas, Timothy (Susan) of Eureka and Paul of Dallas; and two uncles Leo (Gabby) Brown of Ottawa and Jack Tierney of Seattle. Charlie was proceeded in death by his father, grandparents, an uncle Werner Kubis, and two aunts, Shirley Boisso Brown of Ottawa, and Betty (Kubis) Tierney of Seattle. Charlie took great joy in raising his children, working in his garden and orchard. He was a true kindred spirit who led a very rich life. Those who knew him were blessed to have had Charlie pass through their lives.
