Catherine A. Baldoni

Catherine A. Baldoni, of Bradenton, Florida, passed away Saturday, July 19, 2014 at the Westminster Towers in Bradenton. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, July 24, 2014 at St. Columba Church with Rev. Corey Krengiel officiating. We are honored to serve her family at the Ottawa Funeral Home and Crematory. Burial will be in St. Columba Cemetery. Catherine was born in Ottawa, Illinois to Peter and Cora (Hammel) McManus. She was a member of St. Joseph Church in Bradenton and formerly of St. Columba Church in Ottawa, she was a charter member of Ryburn Memorial Hospital, Grey Ladies, Red Cross Volunteers, HO Auxiliary, and the Boat Club. She graduated from Ottawa Elementary School, OTHS, and Stephens College, Columbia Missouri. She is survived by one daughter, Joni Stevenson of Zionsville, IN; one son, Peter Schmitz of Fort Myers FL.; eleven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren, her son-in-law Joel Banks two nieces, Cork and Jackie (Johnston). She is preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Catherine Banks; and one sister, Dorothy Johnson. Pallbearers will be her grandchildren.
