Carolyn L. Shriber

Carolyn L. Shriber, 68, of Ottawa, IL, formerly of Aurora, IL, went to be with the Lord while surrounded by her family, Wednesday March 31, 2010 at LaSalle County Nursing Home in Ottawa after a fourteen year battle with Parkinsons Disease. Ottawa Funeral Home oversaw the cremation. A private burial will take place at a later date. Carolyn was born August 9, 1941, in Aurora, IL to John and Thelma (Harris) Benson. She is survived by her twin sister, Marilyn Wig of Ottawa; her husband, John Shriber of Montgomery, IL; one son, Gregory Long of Ottawa; one daughter, Rebecca Price of Aurora, IL; a grandson, Andrew Price of Aurora, IL; a granddaughter, Brittany Price of Milwaukee, WI; a niece, Melissa Goetsch of Ottawa; and many cousins. Carolyn is preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, John R. Benson.
